PayPal Payments
Below is a PayPal button created with a plugin, WP PayPal Payments. It is a shortcode. In the settings you can specify items with set fees. If “other amount” is filed in it overrides the set options. The button takes you to PayPal where you can login or can choose to pay by credit card.

Below is a button created using the PayPal Donation Plugin (https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/paypal-donations-widgets-plugin) shortcode, 3 button style options under settings. This option includes the credit card images. It can be set to return the donor to a thank you page. You can also use a custom button.
Below is a donation button using the code provided by PayPal. This option will send an email receipt to the donor and an email notification to the recipient. If the donor checks to provide a mailing address that will also be sent to the recipient. It does not provide an option to provide an email address.

Below is a plugin called Advanced Sidebar Menu, which is a widget with a shortcode so cn be put anywhere, including inside a section with a background.
