Reusable Block

• Put blocks you may reuse elsewhere on your site in the reusable section, such as a call to action block.
• Gutenberg: 5 Cool Ways to use Reusable Blocks
• Click edit on the reusable block to make changes and those will then be part of reusable block when saved and will change the block everywhere it is used when saved.
• If want to change it just for one usage can click to convert to regular block.
• useful for moving an entire block to a different page
• useful for saving a skeleton structure that will be reused, like a section block with a border
• Read that they can be exported to another site but haven’t tested this.

Block Gallery

• Three different layouts for a gallery

Carousel Gallery

• Options: background color, sliding options, height, gutter, rounded corners
• Cons: only good for full width site, caption cut off, images cut off unless pretty large.
• Not responsive

Masonry Gallery

• Options for background color, caption color and light or dark background, rounded corners, space between images.
• Cons: can’t make image a link to outside source or make images even, can’t set number per line and width goes beyond content area if not full width page, captions overlay image.
• Medium size image seems to work best
• Re-order images for best fit
• Responsive–puts images in one column

Stacked Gallery

• Caption shows below image
• can have background color.
• Cons: can’t link to outside source, images not all the same size
• Responsive

• If you have the Ultimate Products Catalog plugin installed and have created a catalog, then this will put the entire catalog in a block
